Retiring in Victoria was always the plan for Jeffrey and Anne. In 2006, they purchased an older home on a quiet, tree-lined street in South Oak Bay with the eventual intention of building their custom dream home.

During one of their vacations in the city, they went for a walk and observed several homes that they admired. After some cursory internet research, they discovered that Christopher Developments had built both of them. The couple also did some asking around and word of mouth proved the builder’s notable reputation in the city. Within five minutes of their first meeting with Chris, they decided to engage his services. 

Christopher Developments collaborated with Blackline Home Design and Zebra Interiors to create an authentically detailed Georgian-styled home. The neighbours were extremely pleased, and love the way the home fits into the established neighborhood. 

Chris stands by the belief that as long as it is well executed, a good design fits into any neighborhood, regardless of the overarching style of the street. The client’s stylistic wishes, be it contemporary, traditional, west-coast modern, etc., will always be achievable in a tasteful, and mindful manner.
